I love India Arie. Her voice is amazing and I think she has such a beautiful spirit.

I'm currently in love with her song "Brown Skin". The lyrics are so yummy, sexy, tender and fun.

  2. I'm into pretty much every genre of music. From bluegrass to funk to Indie to Latin to that horrible bubble gum pop that sticks in your head for ages. I'm not extremely keen on rap, though.

    I listened to the song, and her voice reminds me a lot of a breathy version of Feist. I liked it.

  3. Wow, I've never heard that comparison before! Most people (read: dopey music critics like Rob Sheffield) compare her to Bjork and Kate Bush and leave it at that! I'm glad you liked it, though, she's one of my favorites. And I have a total crush on her, Natascha Khan is one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen.

    Pretty much the only thing I can't stomach is country. Although I don't care for most rap or screamo or insipid bubblegum, I can find somebody, somewhere, with one song I'll listen to. I can admit when something is good whether I want to sit and listen to it or not.

    Of course, what do I know? I listen to some of the weirdest shit out there. But I'm quite proud of that.
